Eyotts does not have a firework display but traditionally we do have a bonfire party, allowing us to dispose of tree trimmings, hedge cuttings and other burnable items we may have collected throughout the year.
Tonight we had our 2008 party, where Pumpkin soup, hot potatoes, bread roles and various cakes were enjoyed by everyone there.
As usual Jennifer did a wonderful job of organizing the food and making sure people signed up to come to the event.
Children of all ages enjoyed sparklers, games with doughnuts and football with a balloon whilst others just sat around the fire.
